From discovery to a deployed system. Every stage done by the same person.
I take a business problem through analysis, design, build and deployment. Start at the beginning, or engage me for the stage you need: a custom build, an integration, a technical review, or AI put to work on a specific task.
The lifecycle.
Five stages, each priced before it starts. You decide after each one whether to continue.
01 · Discovery
A conversation about your business, where it is losing time and money, and what you are trying to achieve. If I do not think I can help, I will say so.
What you receive
- A clear view of whether this is worth pursuing
- A proposed scope and fixed price for the next step
02 · Mapping and analysis
I map how work actually flows today across people, systems, handovers and decisions, and where each one stalls. I talk to the people who do the work, not only the managers, and I look at the systems and data you already have.
What you receive
- A current-state map of your core processes and systems
- Inefficiencies, risks and opportunities identified and ranked
- A clear view of what is worth fixing, and what is not
03 · Solution design
I design the solution that fits the problem: a custom application, an existing platform configured properly, integration between the systems you already have, automation, AI, or a combination. The technology is chosen to fit the business, not the other way around.
What you receive
- A solution design and architecture you can take to anyone
- Expected return and effort for each part
- A sequenced plan, with human checkpoints defined for every automated or AI-assisted step
04 · Build and integrate
I build it myself: custom software, integrations, automated workflows and AI components, with automated tests and proper deployment. I also configure and connect existing platforms where they are the right answer.
What you receive
- Working software in daily use
- Documentation, training and full handover
- Everything owned by you, including the code
05 · Deploy and improve
Deployment into production, then measured improvement: refining what was built, extending it as the business changes, and keeping adoption on track.
What you receive
- Production deployment and monitoring
- Regular reviews against the plan
- Changes and new capabilities as needs grow
What a mapping shows you
The same work, mapped then fixed.
An illustrative quote-to-invoice process in a 40-person distribution company. Each lane is a person or team; time runs left to right. Switch to see the routine work move into the system, the handovers disappear, and the two decisions that stay with people.
Illustrative example. Your map is built from interviews with your own team.
Today
- Enquiry arrives: WhatsApp, email or phone. Three channels, no single record
- Details retyped: Sales admin → spreadsheet. First retype
- Quote prepared: Sales manager only. Bottleneck: one person, often travelling
- Order confirmed: Phone call, then retyped. Second retype
- Delivery paperwork: Warehouse, typed again. Third retype
- Invoice raised: Finance, from scratch. Fourth retype; errors found here
- Payment chased: Finance, by hand. No reminders, no visibility
After
- Enquiry captured: One shared inbox and web form. Every enquiry becomes one record
- Quote drafted: AI drafts from price list. Pricing rules applied consistently
- Quote approved: Sales manager, one click. A person still decides
- Order and paperwork: Generated from the same record. Nothing retyped
- Invoice issued: Automatically on delivery. Finance reviews exceptions only
- Reminders sent: Automated, escalates to a person. Overdue accounts flagged
Engage me for the part you need.
Each of these stands on its own. If you already know what you need, we skip straight to it.
Custom software development
Web applications and platforms designed and built from your requirements, with tests, documentation and deployment. Engaged on its own or as part of a wider programme.
Systems integration
Connecting the systems you already run so data moves between them without retyping: ERP, CRM, finance, messaging and the tools your team lives in.
Technical review and architecture
An independent assessment of an existing system, codebase or architecture, or the design of a new one, with findings your leadership can act on.
AI implementation
AI put to work on specific tasks, such as reading documents, drafting, matching and classification, with rules and human checkpoints around every consequential decision.
Platform selection and procurement
Choosing between build and buy, comparing vendors and negotiating the contract, from someone who has run contracts and procurement on major energy projects.
Hands-on technical leadership
Fractional CTO or transformation lead: owning the technical direction and delivery when you do not have that person in-house.
How I build.
I write the code, design the database and deploy the system myself. The technology is chosen to fit the problem, not the other way around.
Web applications and platforms
Multi-tenant, role-based applications in TypeScript with React or Svelte, built to be used daily by real teams, in English and Arabic where needed.
Architecture and databases
PostgreSQL schema design, row-level security, migrations and database tests. Systems designed so they can grow without being rebuilt.
Integrations and automation
APIs, webhooks, background job queues and bots that connect existing systems and remove manual handovers.
AI with controls
Large language models for reading, drafting, matching and classification, with deterministic rules and human approval outside the model.
Cloud and delivery
Serverless and edge deployment, CI pipelines, automated end-to-end testing and monitoring, so what ships keeps working.
Existing platforms
When an off-the-shelf tool is the right answer, I configure it properly, connect it to the rest of your systems and make sure people use it.
A fixed price before anything starts.
Every engagement is scoped and priced before it starts. You know the full cost before you commit to anything.
Common questions
Do I have to start with mapping?
No. If you already know what you need built, reviewed or integrated, we start there. Mapping is where I start when the problem is not yet clear, because it is the cheapest way to avoid building the wrong thing.
Do you build it yourself, or hand it to a team?
I design and build it myself. You deal with the person who understood the problem, designed the solution and wrote the code, not an account manager.
Do we need to buy new software?
Often not. Many of the best improvements come from connecting and properly using what you already have. Where something new is needed, I help you choose between building and buying, and negotiate it.
Will AI make decisions for us?
Only where you decide it should. Every automated or AI-assisted step has a defined human checkpoint, and anything consequential stays with a person.
What happens to our data and code?
They stay yours. I work under NDA where needed, use your accounts and systems wherever possible, and everything built is handed over to you with documentation.
Do you work remotely?
Yes, across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe. On-site work is possible in Indonesia and the region. I work in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Malay.
